Josh Sanders arrested in North Carolina amid custody battle

Josh Sanders, the 38-year-old runner-up from NBC’s ‘The Voice’, was arrested in North Carolina on Saturday, August 29. The Kannapolis police took Sanders into custody on outstanding traffic warrants and an alleged charge of obstructing or delaying a law enforcement officer. He was subsequently booked into the Cabarrus County Jail.

This arrest occurs amidst an intensifying custody battle between Sanders and his estranged wife, Kendra. The couple separated in January and are currently involved in a contentious legal dispute over their three children. Court filings indicate that while Sanders has argued for custody, Kendra has made various allegations regarding his behavior, including claims of violence and driving while intoxicated. Sanders has disputed these allegations, accusing Kendra of interfering with his relationship with their children.
