Josh Sweat trade rumors link Cardinals linebacker to multiple NFL teams

Arizona Cardinals outside linebacker Josh Sweat has emerged as a primary subject of NFL trade rumors ahead of the November 10 deadline. Reports from ESPN insiders Adam Schefter, Ian Rapoport, and Jeremy Fowler have linked the Dallas Cowboys to Sweat, noting that his profile as a pass rusher would address a critical need for the Cowboys. However, a potential deal may depend on Dallas improving their 2-4 record.

In addition to Dallas, NFL insider Jordan Schultz has connected the San Francisco 49ers and the Chicago Bears to Sweat. The 49ers, currently 6-1, and the Bears, at 5-2, are both viewed as contenders looking to bolster their defenses for a postseason push.

Sweat is reportedly seeking a new contract, as the final two years of his current deal contain no guaranteed money. His availability follows a period of uncertainty regarding his knee health and reported trade interest following coaching changes in Arizona.
