Ugandan singer-songwriter Joshua Baraka has released his second single of 2026, titled ‘YOYO’. The track is a romantic song exploring the transition from an undefined ‘situationship’ to a committed relationship.

Written and produced by Baraka with additional production from Hendrix Sam, the song features a multilingual blend of English, French, Luganda, and Lingala. This approach aims to combine East African influences with global appeal. ‘YOYO’ is a precursor to his upcoming EP, Recess 2.

To support the release, Baraka is embarking on a tour across Uganda, starting in Northern Uganda and traveling through West Nile, Eastern Uganda, and Western Uganda to reach fans outside of Kampala.
