Joshua Ezeudu traded from Giants to Chiefs
The New York Giants are trading guard Joshua Ezeudu to the Kansas City Chiefs in exchange for a 2028 seventh-round draft pick. Ezeudu, a former third-round pick from North Carolina, has made 10 starts in 33 games for the Giants.
The move provides the Chiefs with interior offensive line depth, addressing concerns raised during training camp. Ezeudu is expected to compete for a reserve role behind starters Trey Smith and Kingsley Suamataia.
For the Giants, the trade follows a recent move where they sent Daniel Faalele to the Jaguars for a 2027 sixth-round pick. The transaction will result in approximately $1.17 million in salary cap savings for New York.
