Joshua Kushner hires Alex Spiro to counter UEFA in U.S. court
Entrepreneur Joshua Kushner has hired attorney Alex Spiro to represent him in a legal dispute with UEFA in the United States. Kushner, who is set to lead a FIFA project aimed at attracting $20 billion in private investment through the Fifa Forward Enterprise (FFE), is facing legal action from the European football governing body.
UEFA is seeking court access to documents regarding the origin, structure, and valuation of the FFE subsidiary. The European organization intends to use this documentation to pursue criminal action against FIFA President Gianni Infantino in Switzerland.
Spiro is a prominent attorney at the firm Quinn Emanuel Urquhart & Sullivan, which also represents Elon Musk. The firm has significant experience in sports litigation and corruption investigations, having previously handled internal probes following the ‘Fifagate’ scandal and represented various entities involved in the Lava Jato investigation.
