UFC 331 features Van-Pantoja rematch and card changes

UFC 331, scheduled for September 19 in Los Angeles, features a flyweight title rematch between champion Joshua Van and Alexandre Pantoja. Van previously won the belt after Pantoja suffered an injury during their first encounter. The co-main event features a lightweight bout between Arman Tsarukyan and Mauricio Ruffy, which is widely viewed as a potential title eliminator.

The event has undergone significant changes due to an injury to Brian Ortega. Ortega withdrew from his scheduled lightweight rematch against Renato Moicano following an eye injury sustained during training. Consequently, Moicano has been moved to headline UFC Vegas 123 on October 31 at Meta APEX in Las Vegas, where he will face Australian Tom Nolan in a five-round contest.
