Trotter, the son of former NFL linebacker Jeremiah Trotter, has credited his family lineage and experience playing in the SEC for his ability to adjust to the professional game. He has emphasized the importance of focusing on small details and maintaining composure during play.

While Bowles remains undecided on the definitive starting lineup, Trotter’s strong preseason performance and upward trend throughout training camp place him in direct competition with Dennis, who has dealt with injuries and faced challenges in coverage and run defense in previous seasons.
