Josip Dabro begins recording patriotic song album

Croatian Member of Parliament Josip Dabro has begun recording a new album of patriotic songs. Following an announcement made earlier this year, Dabro shared photos and video footage from the ZiS studio in Lipovac on social media.

The recording process is currently focused on the first track, titled ‘Tjeraju me do tamnice puste’, for which an authentic music video is also planned. The upcoming album is expected to feature ten songs, including titles such as ‘Ustani bane Jelačiću’, ‘Marjane, Marjane’, and ‘Vila Velebita’.

Dabro previously faced controversy and a fine of 700 euros following a social media video in which he sang lyrics referencing historical political figures, though he has continued his musical pursuits.
