Jost Group acquires German logistics firm CTJ Janssen GmbH

Jost Group, a Belgium-based operator and part of the Kangaroo Group, has agreed to acquire the German transport firm CTJ Janssen GmbH. The acquisition is intended to strengthen Jost’s presence in Germany and expand its footprint within the European logistics sector.

Founded over 40 years ago and based in Grevenbroich, CTJ Janssen GmbH specializes in road transport, logistics, and warehousing, primarily serving the food, beverage, and consumer goods sectors. The company generates approximately €135 million in annual revenue, employs nearly 650 people, and operates a fleet of roughly 400 trucks and 500 trailers.

Upon completion of the transaction, the combined organization is expected to employ nearly 4,000 people across 10 countries, including Belgium, Bulgaria, France, Germany, Italy, Luxembourg, the Netherlands, Poland, Romania, and Tunisia.
