Josué De Paula named Texas League MVP

Dominican prospect Josué De Paula has been named the Texas League Most Valuable Player (MVP) following a standout season with the Double-A Tulsa Drillers. De Paula recorded a .303/.401/.547 offensive line, including 27 home runs, 37 doubles, 106 runs scored, 104 RBIs, and 31 stolen bases across 124 games.

De Paula led the league in runs scored, RBIs, hits, and doubles. He also ranked among the league leaders in OPS, slugging percentage, on-base percentage, batting average, home runs, and stolen bases. Additionally, Baseball America named him the Dodgers' Minor League Player of the Year.

Since his recent promotion to the Major Leagues, De Paula has continued his performance, recording a .286/.474/.500 line through his first 10 games with the Los Angeles Dodgers, highlighted by 10 walks against only four strikeouts.
