Jota Quest confirmed for Cabo Frio New Year's Eve celebrations

The Brazilian pop rock band Jota Quest has been confirmed as a performer for the 2026/2027 New Year's Eve celebrations in Cabo Frio. The group is scheduled to perform at Praia do Forte on January 2, 2027, extending the city's holiday festivities beyond the New Year's Eve countdown.

Mayor Dr. Serginho announced the addition via social media, noting that the artist lineup is not yet finalized and more attractions will be revealed. The current musical schedule for the period includes Roupa Nova performing on December 30, the sertanejo duo Zé Neto e Cristiano on December 31, and Jota Quest on January 2.

Local authorities expect the expanded programming to attract visitors and benefit the hospitality sector in the Região dos Lagos during the holiday period.
