Jota wins JP 75 Snooker Six Red Championship in São Luís
Jota (José Divan Nascimento Costa) won the JP 75 Snooker Six Red Championship held at the Associação Atlética Banco do Brasil (AABB) in São Luís. In the final match, Jota defeated Zico (Cláudio Menechinni) with a score of 5-3 after a 3-3 tie.
The tournament featured 95 athletes from across Brazil, competing in over 400 matches. Maranhão had the highest athlete representation with 28 participants, followed by São Paulo and Pernambuco. Daniel Sousa, representing the Federação Maranhense de Bilhar e Sinuca (FMBS), secured fourth place.
The event was organized by the FMBS and Jornal Pequeno to celebrate the 75th anniversary of the newspaper and the 15th anniversary of the FMBS. It was supported by the Government of Maranhão and sponsored by Grupo Mateus.
