Journalism and communication events focus on artificial intelligence

Educational institutions in Colombia are hosting events centered on the intersection of communication, journalism, and artificial intelligence.

In Florencia, the Juan Bautista Migani Educational Institution launched the 29th School Journalism Encounter on November 5. The event focuses on the pedagogical use of artificial intelligence in school journalism. The program includes discussions on graphic narratives and memory, as well as digital transformation and co-creation of stories with indigenous peoples in Latin America.

Additionally, the sixth Communication Week is incorporating artificial intelligence as a transversal element. The initiative aims to address the impact of digital technologies on the media industry, social networks, and content creation, while emphasizing the importance of maintaining human authenticity and ethical standards in the face of technological advancement.
