Journalist Daniela Ungaretti, presenter of RBS Notícias on RBS TV, has temporarily stepped away from her broadcasting duties following the sudden death of her twin sister, Juliana Ungaretti.

Juliana passed away unexpectedly in the early hours of Monday at the age of 49, shortly before the sisters were set to celebrate their 50th birthday on September 8. While the specific cause of death has not been disclosed, Daniela shared through social media that the loss has left the family in shock.

Daniela described her sister, affectionately known as Júlia, as a strong woman of conviction who was deeply dedicated to motherhood and her four children. The presenter also noted the emotional difficulty of informing their grandmother of the loss, stating that such a death does not follow the natural order of life.
