Journalist Hanna Lis considers returning to maiden name

Polish journalist Hanna Lis has expressed serious consideration regarding returning to her maiden name, Kedaj. During a recent appearance on the podcast ‘Zbliżenie. Mówię Wam’, Lis discussed her desire to distance herself from her past marital identities, stating that her former husband's name is ‘no longer my story’ following their separation several years ago.

Lis noted that while she loves her maiden name, she has previously hesitated due to her professional identity being closely tied to the name Lis. She acknowledged that changing it could be perceived as ‘starting over’ because of the public recognition she has built under her current name, though she indicated she is becoming less concerned with these professional implications.
