During live coverage of cost-of-living protests in Paris, RTVE correspondent Mavi Doñate and her crew were harassed by a group of demonstrators. The incident forced the broadcaster to cut the transmission due to safety concerns.
Video footage shows protesters surrounding the journalistic team with shouts and insults. A masked individual dressed in black approached the camera and made intimidating gestures, including a throat-cutting motion. The unrest in Paris has been marked by significant violence, including urban fires, looting, and over 1,200 arrests. Other media outlets, such as Euronews, have also reported facing aggression while covering the disturbances in the Place de la République.
