Journalist Jason Ureña survives vehicle rollover in Limón

Journalist Jason Ureña of Telenoticias survived a serious car accident in Limón while traveling toward San José. The incident occurred during heavy rainfall when Ureña’s vehicle hit accumulated water on the road, causing the car to skid, strike a dividing fence, and overturn.

Ureña received assistance from passing motorists and was transported to the Tony Facio Hospital in Limón. He was treated for various injuries resulting from the rollover, including the removal of glass fragments from his arm. His partner, Valeria Martínez, expressed her distress at being unable to reach him from Cartago due to road closures caused by weather conditions.
