Journalist Vanildo Cardoso dies at 55

Journalist Vanildo Cardoso has died at the age of 55 following a heart attack. Cardoso was a prominent figure in regional communication across Western Paraná, Brazil, with a career spanning over three decades.

He held significant roles in news production, photography, and communication advisory. His work included contributions to the Jornal Folha Regional in Ubiratã and various media outlets in Palotina. In Palotina, he was recognized as a key partner in the early development and consolidation of Portal Palotina, where he served as a significant collaborator and supporter of the project approximately 20 years ago.

Funeral services were scheduled to take place at the Capela Mortuária in Ubiratã, with burial following on Wednesday.
