Journalists and experts lead social media trust rankings in Poland

A recent CBOS survey regarding information credibility on social media in Poland reveals that users place the highest trust in the profiles of well-known journalists and publicists, cited by 39 percent of respondents. This suggests a continued value placed on professional experience and accountability, even when content is consumed outside traditional media channels.

Experts in various fields ranked second, with 34 percent of respondents trusting their profiles for specialized knowledge and factual verification. Official profiles of traditional media outlets, such as television stations and newspapers, followed in third place with 30 percent trust.

In contrast, internet creators, including influencers and podcasters, received significantly lower trust levels at 13 percent. The least trusted sources were the profiles of personal acquaintances, cited by only 9 percent of those surveyed.
