Journalists Camila Zuluaga and María Camila Roa depart from Caracol roles

Journalists Camila Zuluaga and María Camila Roa have announced changes to their professional roles at Caracol Televisión in Colombia.

Camila Zuluaga has departed from the network after nearly nine years, which included leading 'Mañanas Blu 10:30' on Blu Radio and the political analysis program 'El Código Caracol'. Zuluaga defended the results of the programs she directed and emphasized her commitment to critical journalism and questioning those in power. She also highlighted her efforts to increase female representation in Colombian radio.

María Camila Roa is also transitioning after a ten-year tenure with Noticias Caracol. While her announcement marked the end of a decade-long chapter involving political coverage of the Congress and the Casa de Nariño, reports indicate she may remain linked to Noticias Caracol in a new capacity as she prepares for a different professional challenge.
