Journalists in Córdoba protest for wage increases

Journalists in Córdoba, Argentina, held a protest caravan to demand wage increases and the defense of labor rights. The Círculo Sindical de la Prensa y la Comunicación de Córdoba (Cispren) organized the demonstration, which included a march past various media outlets and a protest at the provincial Ministry of Cooperatives and Mutuals.

Cispren General Secretary María Ana Mandakovic stated that media workers are facing a critical salary situation, claiming that earnings have fallen below the poverty line. The union also expressed concern regarding the stability of public and self-managed media, calling for a more equitable distribution of advertising revenue to support diverse media projects.
