Journalists in Egypt and Morocco face distinct professional developments

In Egypt, the Journalists Syndicate held a lottery for Umrah trips during a celebration for the Prophet's Birthday. The initiative, led by the Hajj and Umrah Committee, includes four fully free trips covering flights, accommodation, and visas, as well as two trips with a 50% discount. The event was attended by the Governor of Cairo and religious figures.

In Morocco, the Moroccan Regional Press Association issued a statement expressing solidarity with journalists who reported being insulted during a press conference at the Moulay Abdellah Amghar festival in El Jadida. The association condemned any behavior that undermines the dignity of journalists and called on festival organizers to ensure better working conditions and respect for media professionals in future events.
