Journey Beyond appoints Jo Boundy to lead Resorts & Lodges division

Journey Beyond has appointed Jo Boundy as the Managing Director of its newly expanded Resorts & Lodges division. Boundy, who begins her role on 9 November 2026, brings extensive leadership experience from previous roles as Chief Marketing Officer at Commonwealth Bank and Qantas Group.

In her new position, Boundy will oversee a diverse portfolio of Australian accommodation assets, including Ayers Rock Resort, Sal Salis, Monarto Safari Resort, Outback Spirit Lodges, and the Kakadu Crocodile Hotel. The division's remit will also expand to include the upcoming Kingfisher Bay Resort and K’gari Beach Resort.

Journey Beyond CEO Chris Tallent stated that Boundy’s expertise in customer strategy and commercial growth will be vital as the company strengthens its portfolio and seeks to elevate guest and employee experiences across its destinations.
