Nikolina Pišek reveals history of domestic abuse

Croatian television presenter Nikolina Pišek has publicly shared details regarding physical and psychological abuse she endured during her marriage to the late Vidoje Ristović. Speaking on the podcast “Bad Advice Club” with Mia Kovačić, Pišek described being hit multiple times and expressed that the psychological abuse was even more difficult to bear.

Pišek recounted a particularly harrowing moment when she attempted to inform her husband that she wanted to leave the relationship. She stated that he sat beside her and placed a pistol on the table, a gesture she described as a subtle but clear message of intimidation. She noted that while he did not threaten to use the weapon, the incident caused her to fear for the safety of her daughters due to direct and open threats.
