Serbian TV host Dušica Jakovljević speaks out on unwanted offers and personal boundaries

Dušica Jakovljević, a well‑known Serbian television presenter, said on a recent talk‑show that her biggest life mistake was not being tougher with people. She reflected that, despite her polite upbringing, she needs to set clearer limits in personal and professional interactions.

Jakovljević also detailed bizarre proposals she receives on social media, including a request to photograph her feet for a thousand euros a week and other intrusive messages. She described these advances as “perverse” and emphasized that she does not wish to monetize such requests.

The interview highlighted her view that public figures are often treated as “public toilets,” and she called for greater respect for personal privacy while acknowledging the intrusive nature of modern media exposure.
