Jovanka Broz's life and legal history recalled by attorney

Attorney Toma Fila has shared recollections regarding the life of Jovanka Broz following the death of her husband, Josip Broz Tito. Fila noted that Tito had specifically recommended the Fila legal family to Jovanka should she ever require legal assistance.

According to Fila, Jovanka’s life after 1980 was marked by isolation and disputes over property. He described her efforts to maintain her integrity as Tito’s legal spouse and her desire to make certain awards available to the public. Fila also mentioned that Žarko Broz had initiated inheritance litigation, though he noted Žarko was relatively cooperative before his own passing.

Jovanka Broz passed away in Belgrade at the age of 89 after nearly two months of hospital treatment.
