Jovanotti begins 2,000km bicycle tour across Italy

Italian singer Jovanotti has launched the "JovaGiro," a sustainable bicycle tour spanning approximately 2,000 kilometers across Italy. The journey, part of his "Arca di Lorè" project, aims to connect with local territories, landscapes, and communities while traveling toward various stages of his upcoming "Jova Summer Party."

Departing from Rome's Circo Massimo on August 9, the cyclist's route included a visit to the archaeological site of Villa Adriana in Tivoli. There, he was met by director Alberto Samonà and archaeologist Sergio Del Ferro to explore the ancient complex. The tour intends to use secondary roads and cycle paths to emphasize a slower, more direct engagement with the regions being traversed.

Following the initial legs through Lazio and toward Abruzzo, the tour is scheduled to reach Barletta, Catanzaro, Palermo, and Naples. The project will culminate with musical performances at the Circo Massimo in Rome on September 12 and 13.
