Joves Xiquets de Valls completes historic tower in Bisbal del Penedès

The Colla Joves Xiquets de Valls achieved a historic milestone during the Festa Major de la Bisbal del Penedès by successfully completing the first ‘4d9 sense folre’ (a four-person tower on a nine-person base without a support ring) in the history of the square. This feat marks a return to a successful attempt made by the group in this location 26 years ago.

In addition to the 4d9 without support, the Joves also completed the 2d9fmi and 3d9f. Other notable performances during the event included the Castellers de Vilafranca, who successfully executed the 4d9fa and 5d9fi, and the Bous de la Bisbal, who performed the 6i, 3de7, and 4de7.

The Colla Vella dels Xiquets de Valls faced challenges, experiencing a fall during their attempt at the 5d9f, which led them to opt for the 4d9fi and 4d8p instead.
