Joy Airline to launch daily flights from Jujuy

Joy Airline will begin operations at the Gobernador Horacio Guzmán International Airport in Jujuy on November 16. The airline will provide two daily flights to Buenos Aires and one daily flight to Córdoba.

Governor Carlos Sadir noted that Joy Airline will be the first company to establish regular overnight aircraft stays in Jujuy. This operational model allows for earlier morning departures and provides more scheduling alternatives compared to existing carriers. The presence of the aircraft is expected to stimulate the local economy through increased demand for ground assistance, maintenance, and logistics services.

Tourism and Culture Minister Federico Posadas highlighted that the province has tripled its tourist arrivals via the Jujuy airport over the last seven years. Government efforts to support the airline included ensuring 24-hour airport operations and reducing passenger fees to facilitate growth.
