Joy Airline to launch flights between Jujuy, Buenos Aires, and Córdoba
Joy Airline, operating under Buenos Aires International Airlines S.A., has been authorized to begin regular and charter air services connecting San Salvador de Jujuy with Buenos Aires (Aeroparque) and Córdoba.
Charter operations are scheduled to begin on October 27, 2026, initially targeting sports delegations and the vacation tourism segment. Regular commercial flights are set to commence on November 16, 2026. The airline's schedule includes 12 weekly frequencies between Jujuy and Aeroparque Jorge Newbery, and 7 weekly frequencies on the Jujuy–Córdoba route.
The airline will utilize regional aircraft with a 50-passenger capacity, focusing on a premium service model. This expansion is part of the national government's ‘Open Skies’ policy, aimed at deregulating the commercial aviation market, encouraging private operators, and improving connectivity between Argentine provinces.
