Joy Behar misses ‘The View’ following on-set shoulder injury

Joy Behar, co-host of ‘The View’, missed a recent episode after suffering a dislocated shoulder from an on-set injury. A representative stated that Behar ‘caught a heel backstage’ but is recovering and expects to return to the show by mid-next week. Sunny Hostin informed viewers of the injury, noting that Behar’s shoulder was not broken and has been put back in place.

During a separate recent broadcast, Behar also addressed a long-standing tension with Bethenny Frankel. While welcoming former co-host Debbie Matenopoulos back to the table, Behar claimed she had originally used the phrase ‘skinny b----’ to describe Matenopoulos before Frankel launched her ‘Skinnygirl’ brand in 2009, alleging that the idea was subsequently ‘stolen’ for the diet book and product line.
