Joy Behar misses ‘The View’ episodes due to shoulder injury
Joy Behar has missed six consecutive episodes of ABC’s ‘The View’ while recovering from a dislocated shoulder. The injury occurred during a backstage incident where Behar reportedly caught her heel and tripped.
On October 7, Behar’s 84th birthday, her co-hosts celebrated the occasion on air in her absence. Moderator Whoopi Goldberg shared a message from Behar, who joked about her recovery and her birthday.
A representative for the show stated that Behar’s shoulder was not broken and has been returned to its proper place. She is expected to return to the program by the middle of next week.
