Joyce University receives Gold Aetna Workplace Well-being Award

Joyce University of Nursing and Health Sciences has been awarded the 2026 Gold-level Workplace Well-being Award by Aetna, a CVS Health company. The recognition highlights the institution's commitment to a whole-person approach to employee health.

The university's wellness strategy, guided by an employee wellness committee, addresses nine dimensions of health. Programs include monthly wellness themes, interactive activities, fitness challenges, and on-campus massages. Aetna also noted the university's use of incentives such as gift cards, raffles, and time off, alongside a multichannel communication strategy and the use of KPIs to evaluate program effectiveness.

Ann Johnson, Vice President of People and Culture at Joyce University, stated that the recognition reflects the culture the institution has built to support its staff.
