JOYCITY announces Prime Open Beta for FreeStyle Football 2

JOYCITY has released a new trailer for the Prime Open Beta of FreeStyle Football 2, a character-driven 5v5 soccer game. Pre-downloads are currently available ahead of the public test starting September 4, 2026. The beta will be accessible via Steam, Xbox, and PlayStation, featuring full cross-play capabilities between PC and consoles.

New content introduced in this beta phase includes a new playable German defender named Lena, a new playable location set in Hamburg, and the initial chapters of a single-player Story Mode. Additional features include Friendly Matches for custom 5v5 rooms, a goal replay system, and customizable keyboard controls.

JOYCITY will also showcase the game at PAX West from September 4–7 in Seattle, where attendees can play at the Seattle Convention Center.
