JoySports Invitational 2026 brings corporate competition to Ghana

The 2026 JoySports Invitational Tournament took place on Saturday, August 29, at the University of Ghana Sports Stadium in Legon. The annual event brought together 34 companies and institutions from Corporate Ghana for a day of fitness, networking, and competition.

The program commenced with a morning walk and aerobics session, followed by various sporting and recreational contests. Major activities included football, swimming, table tennis, Scrabble, chess, and board games such as Ludo and draughts. Novelty events like the lime-and-spoon race, sack race, and a CEO penalty shootout were also featured to encourage camaraderie and healthy competition.

Piwak Natural Health secured victory in the football competition, defeating McDan 2-0 in the final. Other participants, including MobileMoney Fintech Limited (MMFL), utilized the event to strengthen teamwork and interact with clients in a relaxed environment. Ayawaso West Wuogon Member of Parliament John Dumelo attended as the special guest of honour.
