JP Chermont transfers from Santos to Sharjah FC

Right-back JP Chermont has completed a transfer from Santos to Sharjah FC in the United Arab Emirates. The deal is valued at approximately $3.45 million to $3.5 million (roughly R$ 18 million), depending on the fulfillment of specific goals.

As part of the agreement, Coritiba will receive a 10% showcase fee. Santos, which holds 80% of the player's economic rights following a 5% concession by the player, is expected to net approximately R$ 9 million from the transaction. The sale is intended to assist Santos in balancing its accounts for the current season.

Chermont, who joined Santos' youth academy in 2018, most recently played for Coritiba on loan. He will join a squad at Sharjah FC that includes several other Brazilian players, such as Lorran, Igor Coronado, and Julimar.
