JP Komunalno Mostar workers demand reinstatement after dismissal dispute

A group of dismissed workers from the public enterprise JP Komunalno Mostar is demanding their reinstatement, alleging that the company's Supervisory Board has failed to respond to their legal appeals.

The workers stated that the legal deadline for a response from the Supervisory Board expired on August 24, 2026. They claim the board has ignored their grievances and a labor inspection report that identified irregularities in the termination process. The workers specifically criticized the board's president, Ivana Marić, noting her concurrent roles as head of the Mostar City Economy Service and president of the municipal administration employees' union.

Furthermore, the workers noted that the mandate of the Supervisory Board members has expired, which they argue should not absolve them of responsibility for the delay. They expressed that they are now being forced to seek legal recourse through courts and other institutions to protect their rights.
