JP Kraemer businesses to reopen in Dortmund following closure announcement

Several businesses owned by YouTube and tuning star Jean Pierre “JP” Kraemer are set to reopen in Dortmund following a recent announcement of their closure. The decision to resume operations was made by the management and employees of JP Performance GmbH after intensive consultation with Kraemer. The move aims to fulfill responsibility toward approximately 80 employees, their families, and various business partners.

The reopening will be staggered: Big Boost Burger is scheduled to reopen on September 14, 2026, followed by the PACE Automuseum, Carffee, and Time Attack on September 16, 2026. While the businesses will continue to operate, Kraemer himself will not return to daily operations. He is currently taking a leave of absence to begin therapy.

The sudden reversal follows public allegations of domestic violence involving Kraemer and his wife, Julia Meck. Kraemer had previously admitted to physical altercations in a YouTube video. The Dortmund public prosecutor's office has reopened investigations into allegations of bodily harm and property damage. Despite the legal proceedings and the loss of some corporate partnerships, fans recently gathered in Dortmund to demonstrate support for Kraemer.
