JP Lajka hosts ‘Bowl of Love’ event to feed homeless dogs

The public enterprise JP Lajka hosted its inaugural ‘Bowl of Love’ event, bringing citizens together to prepare food for homeless animals. Under the motto ‘Word of the Day: Community’, volunteers prepared and distributed a total of 210 cooked meals to all dogs within the shelter and those in the surrounding area.

In addition to providing direct aid, the initiative aimed to raise public awareness regarding animal welfare, responsible pet ownership, sterilization, and adoption. Professor Dr. Natasha Gjorgovska, a scientific advisor at the Institute of Animal Husbandry at Ss. Cyril and Methodius University in Skopje, attended as a special guest and prepared specific delicacies for the event. The initiative was further supported by Luna Pet Shop, which donated supplements.
