JP Nadda discharged from AIIMS Delhi after successful angioplasty

Union Minister JP Nadda, who holds the portfolios for Health and Family Welfare as well as Chemicals and Fertilizers, has been discharged from the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) in New Delhi following a successful angioplasty procedure.

Nadda was initially admitted to AIIMS on the evening of August 13 after experiencing physical discomfort and uneasiness. Following his admission, medical staff conducted diagnostic tests, including a coronary angiography, to evaluate his condition. On August 17, doctors proceeded with an angioplasty, a procedure used to reopen narrowed or blocked coronary arteries.

Following the procedure, hospital authorities reported that the minister remained in stable condition under observation in the Department of Cardiology. He was officially discharged from the hospital on Wednesday, August 19.
