Újpest launches free preventive health screening program
The Újpest Health Program is offering free medical screenings to residents and workers in the Újpest district. The initiative aims to promote prevention and early detection of various conditions to improve treatment success rates.
Available screenings include cervical cancer, prostate cancer, pediatric orthopedics, ophthalmology, oral cancer, dermatology (melanoma), lung function tests, hearing tests, and BMI measurements. The program also includes dietary lifestyle counseling.
To participate, individuals must have a registered residence or place of work in Újpest and a valid social security number (TAJ). No referral is required. The screenings will take place at the Újpest Health Center on Saturdays between October 3 and November 28, 2026, from 8:00 to 14:00.
