JPJ suspends MYEG Group companies as collection agents

The Malaysian Road Transport Department (JPJ) has suspended My E.G. Sdn. Bhd. and Zetrix AI Berhad, both part of the MYEG Group, from acting as its collection agents. The suspension takes effect at 12:01 am on October 5.

JPJ Director-General Aedy Fadly Ramli stated the decision follows concerns regarding compliance with agreement terms and unfulfilled obligations. Reports indicate that Zetrix AI allegedly owes JPJ more than RM200 million, having failed to remit funds collected from customers for vehicle road tax, driving license renewals, and traffic summonses.

All JPJ services previously offered through MYEG Group channels will be suspended starting October 5. However, computer-based driving theory examination (KPP01) bookings made through MYEG before the deadline will still be honored. New applications must be processed through KPP test centers at driving institutes across Malaysia.

For non-citizens paying summonses at the Malaysia-Singapore border, mobile JPJ units will be available at the Sultan Abu Bakar Complex (KSAB) and Sultan Iskandar Building (BSI) in Johor from 8 am to 10 pm.
