Financial institutions issue updated ratings for European companies
Several major financial institutions have issued updated analyst ratings and price targets for various European companies.
In the logistics sector, Jefferies raised the price target for DHL Group from 52 to 59 euros while maintaining a ‘Hold’ rating. Analyst Michael Aspinall identified DSV as the preferred global logistics stock, followed by Kuehne + Nagel and DHL.
In the insurance and banking sectors, JPMorgan downgraded Generali SpA from ‘Overweight’ to ‘Neutral’, raising its price target to 46 euros as management performance is now largely priced in. Meanwhile, Barclays increased its target price for BPER to 16.30 euros, maintaining an ‘Overweight’ recommendation and noting potential growth through future mergers and acquisitions.
Other adjustments include Jefferies lowering the price target for Beiersdorf from 81 to 76 euros while keeping a ‘Hold’ rating following half-year results. Additionally, JPMorgan maintained an ‘Overweight’ rating for Renk with a price target of 75 euros, citing an improved outlook and recent acquisitions.
