JPMorgan names Mark Fiteny and Matt Gehl as international tech banking co-heads
JPMorgan Chase & Co. has appointed Mark Fiteny and Matt Gehl as co-heads of its international technology investment banking unit. The move expands the responsibilities of the two senior bankers, who currently lead technology investment banking for the Asia-Pacific and EMEA regions, respectively.
Fiteny, based in Hong Kong, currently serves as the head of Asia-Pacific Technology, Media, and Telecom (TMT) and New Economy Investment Banking. Gehl, based in London, leads the EMEA Technology Investment Banking division. Both executives possess over two decades of industry experience and will focus on supporting the firm’s technology clients on a global scale.
In addition to these international appointments, the bank announced leadership changes within its EMEA technology investment banking division. Pieter Himpe, previously the lead for EMEA Internet and Tech Services, has been named co-head of EMEA Technology Investment Banking, serving alongside Bill Hutchings.
