JR East and Heralbony launch Mobile Suica art campaign
East Japan Railway Company (JR East) and Heralbony have announced a collaborative campaign involving Mobile Suica. Starting October 23, 2026, the first 5,000 users to enter the campaign will receive exclusive digital card faces featuring artwork by Heralbony-contracted artists.
Through this initiative, JR East will contribute an amount equivalent to 0.5% of the qualifying transaction amounts used by participants to Heralbony as a co-creation fund. These funds will then be used to pay royalties to the artists. The campaign period for usage runs from December 1, 2026, to February 28, 2027. Participating users can use their Suica for various electronic payments at stores and vending machines, as well as on JR East railway lines.
The limited card faces feature works by artists Midori Kudo, Kodai Suzuki, and marina. The collaboration stems from Heralbony winning the Audience Award at the JR East Startup Program 2019.
