JR East Hotel Mets facilities earn international ESG certification
JR East Hotel Mets Headquarters announced that 10 of its operated hotel facilities have obtained the '3 Gyokou Sakura' level of the 'Sakura Quality An ESG Practice' (Sakura Quality Green) international ESG certification.
The certified facilities include six JR East Hotel Mets Premier locations (Sapporo, Akihabara, Tokyo Bay Shin-kiba, Gotanda, Yokohama Sakuragicho, and Makuhari Toyonaga), two Hotel Dream Gate Maihama locations, and two Hotel B4T locations (Akabane and Tabata).
The certification recognizes efforts in sustainable hotel management, including the integration of local history and culture into space design, environmental considerations, coexistence with local communities, and the provision of comfortable stays.
