JR East launches Pokémon Stamp Rally at 36 Tokyo‑area stations

JR East is running the "JR East Pokémon Stamp Rally 2026" from 16 July to 31 August 2026 to mark the franchise’s 30th anniversary. The promotion places Pokémon‑themed stamps at 35 JR East stations in the Greater Tokyo area and at one Tokyo Monorail station, allowing participants to collect stamps using a special stamp book.

Four course options are offered – 6‑station, 9‑station, 36‑station and a Shinkansen route – each with exclusive prizes such as a special‑ticket‑style sticker, a "Special Neck Strap", a key‑holder, or a medal featuring the new “Coroidon” and “Miraidon” designs. A “Special” stamp book with a Pokémon pass‑case is also sold at select NewDays stores.

The event is complemented by extra attractions: a Honda‑Coroidon display at Oimachi, limited‑time Pokémon‑wrapped trains on several lines, photo‑spot wall decorations at Tokyo Station and other venues, a layered‑stamp illustration at Waters Shiba, sun‑visor giveaways, and a Captain Pikachu greeting at Oimachi and Waters Shiba.
