Hirosaki City implements new snow removal strategy

Hirosaki City has announced a new approach to winter snow management. Moving away from traditional reactive methods, the city will implement ‘preventative snow removal’ to mitigate traffic disruptions. This strategy targets high-risk areas such as main roads, bus routes, and locations near fire stations and emergency medical facilities when cold waves are forecasted.
