JR West increases Hanayome Noren sightseeing train service

JR West has announced that the Hanayome Noren sightseeing train on the Nanao Line will increase its service to two round trips per day starting October 3. This expansion includes the resumption of the Hanayome Noren 2 and 3 services.

From October through February 28, 2027, the trains will operate primarily on Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays in October and November. The schedule includes departures from Kanazawa Station for downbound trips and Wakura Onsen Station for upbound trips.

Onboard dining services will be available via reservation. The Hanayome Noren 1 and 2 services will offer a Kaga local cuisine set from the historic Kanazawa restaurant Otomo-ro, while the Hanayome Noren 3 and 4 services will feature a dessert set from Le Musée de Doux by pastry chef Hiroaki Tsujiguchi.
