Jürgen Klopp confirms sponsorship deal with Red Bull brand AlphaTauri

Jürgen Klopp has confirmed a personal sponsorship deal with AlphaTauri, a fashion brand owned by Red Bull, despite his new role as the German national team coach. The brand ambassador role was highlighted in a recent interview with Sports Illustrated.

The German Football Association (DFB) stated that the interview was conducted in early summer, prior to Klopp assuming his position as national team coach, and that the publication was coordinated with them. The DFB further noted that Klopp is free to choose his clothing as a private individual.

Additionally, Marc O'Polo, the official clothing sponsor for the DFB through the end of the year, indicated that there is no contractual conflict, as the partnership with the DFB does not explicitly restrict the national coach's personal brand deals.
